Solved Engineering Problems
I post engineering problems and solutions in this section. Most of these are at the general engineering level and encompass topics all engineers generally learn in year two or three - mechanics, circuits, fluid mechanics, etc. As of July 2024 I have a lot more videos on my youtube channel than I have solutions here. There are playlists for engineering, math, physics, etc.
Truss Problems (Usually encountered in courses on Statics or Introductory Structural Analysis)
- Truss Problem 1: A simple truss, find the forces in all elements
- Truss Problem III: Find the force in each of two elements using the Method of Joints
- Truss Problem IV: Find the force in each of two elements using the Method of Sections
Beam Problems (Usually encountered in courses on Statics or Introductory Structural Analysis)
- Beam Problems #2 and #3 : Two simple beam problems asking for the support forces. But the shear and moment diagrams are also included along with links to the Desmos versions of those.
